Himangshu R. Vaish

Mr. Himangshu R. Vaish, B.Tech (IIT Delhi), is a visionary technologist, serial entrepreneur, and humanitarian leader with nearly five decades of experience in innovation-driven businesses and social initiatives. As Managing Director of Instapower Ltd., he pioneered power conditioning and LED lighting technologies and holds over 50 patents globally. His R&D-driven ventures have received national recognition, including awards from former President Dr. Abdul Kalam and the Chief Minister of Delhi.

Mr. Vaish was instrumental in shaping India’s energy efficiency and green building policies through his contributions to the Bureau of Energy Efficiency and Bureau of Indian Standards. He founded Smart Aid International Welfare Foundation to promote technology-based solutions for healthcare, sanitation, and livelihood generation. He launched software solutions to support migrant workers during the pandemic and is currently developing AI-enabled tools to facilitate distance treatment through Homeopathy, Nutrition, and Reflexology.

He is a past President of IIT Delhi Alumni Association and PanIIT India, Fellow of the Indian Society of Lighting Engineers, and has served on the Senate of IIT Delhi. As Hony. Treasurer on the Governing Body of Lady Irwin College and an active member of AIWEFA, he has promoted Khadi, women empowerment, and elder care initiatives, including presentations at the UN’s CSW63.

Mr. Vaish’s passions extend to mentoring IIT students, promoting rural entrepreneurship, and practicing Homeopathy for over 50 years. His mission combines social reform, grassroots innovation, and environmental sustainability — from COVID relief and organic farming to advocating population control and decentralized manufacturing as pillars of national progress.

He is a veteran technocrat, innovator, and entrepreneur with over 50 years of experience in electrical and civil engineering. An alumnus of IIT Delhi (1966), he is the founder and Chairman of Instapower Ltd, a leading Indian manufacturer of energy-efficient LED lighting solutions. He pioneered LED technology in India, holds multiple patents, and has supplied advanced lighting systems to Indian Railways, Defence, and various government departments. Under his leadership, Instapower received multiple national awards, including the Technology Leadership Award by the Department of Science and Technology.

Beyond engineering, he has championed Homeopathy for over five decades and is deeply engaged in mentorship, social welfare, and skill development for rural youth and marginalized communities.

Pankaj Aggarwal

Mr. Pankaj Aggarwal is a seasoned leader with 40 years of rich and diverse experience in strategic management, corporate governance, supply chain optimization, and operational excellence. He has held key leadership positions including Executive Director at Rajasthan Spinning & Weaving Mills Ltd (RSWM), President of Sewa International, and Trustee with SAI Welfare Foundation, contributing to national and global impact in both industrial and social domains.

At RSWM, Mr. Aggarwal drove large-scale textile operations, successfully managing multi-crore projects, introducing modern ERP systems, and achieving significant productivity and cost improvements. His early career with Indian Rayon (Aditya Birla Group) set the stage for a results-oriented approach blending finance, materials, and logistics expertise.

In the development sector, he has been a force multiplier for impactful causes. As President of Sewa International, he led multiple disaster relief and rural development initiatives across India. At SAIWF, he continues his passion for inclusive growth through skilling programs, sanitation projects, migrant worker enablement, and digital tools for social empowerment.

Mr. Aggarwal holds a B.Com (Hons) from Shri Ram College of Commerce and an MBA from the Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), University of Delhi. He is also trained in systems audit, Six Sigma, and capacity building for NGOs. His leadership style is rooted in empathy, system thinking, and value-based partnerships.

Beyond his professional excellence, he is a passionate mentor and community builder, driven by a vision of a just, equitable, and prosperous India for all.

He is also known for his civic leadership and activism. He served as Vice Chairman of Transparency International India, General Secretary of the Delhi RWA Joint Front (representing 300+ RWAs), and has held key roles in Rotary Club and citizen welfare forums. His advocacy has led to reforms in urban planning, power distribution, crime prevention (especially concerning women and senior citizens), and better public utility governance.

He has initiated and overseen multiple health camps, infrastructure upgrades, and free training drives across Delhi that have impacted thousands at the grassroots.
