Our Projects
Empowering communities through technology, health, and dignity
1. Kamgar Sewa – Migrant Workers Welfare
SAI Welfare Foundation has created a web-based and mobile application to register unorganised migrant workers — a digital, faceless assistance system. It maintains their data such as demographics, employment, and movement, helping the government and employers. The software enables job posting by prospective employers and matching of registered job seekers with available jobs. It helps track movements, aid during calamities, and connect workers to social security systems and benefits. This was conceptualized during the COVID-19 lockdown crisis, where the sudden movement of migrant workers exposed major gaps in data and welfare infrastructure.
2. Bio-Digester Toilets – Sanitation for All
SAIWF implemented a sanitation project in District Una, Haryana, where 20 bio-digester toilets were installed for extremely poor families. This was a ground-level intervention to improve hygiene, dignity, and public health among the deprived. Bio-digester toilets offer an environment-friendly solution where conventional sewer systems are not available. The system decomposes human waste in situ without requiring external sewage treatment. The toilets were successfully deployed, and a photographic record is available.
3. Distance Medicine – Homeopathy and Holistic Health
SAIWF is developing a teleconsultation and medicine identification software platform primarily based on homeopathy. The initiative envisions helping doctors identify the right medicine and maintain symptom records and prescription records. It aims to cover entire India in a phased manner and integrate other holistic systems like Reflexology, Nutrition, and Nature Cure as it grows. This platform will be especially helpful in distant and underserved areas and will make alternative medicine accessible through technology.
